Poe-try in motion
Lou Reed brings "an evening of music and poetry" - based on his new Edgar Allan Poe homage The Raven - to Glasnevin's Helix venue in May
Christmas comes early for Lou Reed fans on May 5 when he jets in for "an evening of music and poetry" at Dublin's Helix Theatre.
Culled from his epic new release, The Raven, it finds Reed partnered on stage by Fernando Saunders.
"The Raven is a culmination of absolutely everything I've ever worked on, except for photography," Lou says. "All the ideas about sound, mixing, writing, emphasis and rhyme – it's all in there. It's the culmination of all that came before it, everything."
