Placebo have covered Sinéad O'Connor's 'Jackie' for the 2-CD version of Sleeping With Ghosts that they're unleashing on September 16.

Along with the Lion & The Cobra classic, Disc 2 features corking versions of Kate Bush's 'Running Up The Hill', The Pixies' 'Where Is My Mind', The Smiths' 'Bigmouth Strikes Again', Robert Palmer's 'Johnny & Mary', T.Rex's '20th Century Boy', Serge Gainsbourg's 'The Ballad Of Melody Nelson', Alex Chilton's 'Holocaust', Depeche Mode's 'I Feel You' and 'Daddy Cool' which was originally a hit for Boney M.

All we need now is for Brian and the boys to slot in a couple of Irish gigs and we'll be happy!
