Pierce Turner set for 20th Anniversary Gig
The singer-songwriter will be back at Whelan’s on September 2, 20 years after his first iconic gig at the Dublin venue.
As part of the celebration, Turner has persuaded Whelan’s to place the venue’s big wooden tables where they used to be so he can get going with his famed table-walking antics.
Well-known luminaries who have taken time out to witness Turner first hand in the past include Brad Pitt and Christy Moore.
The Wexford man will also play Aras Chronain in Clondalkin on September 24 and Greenacres Art Gallery on October 29 during the Wexford Opera Festival where he will unveil his Very Small Orchestra which will feature on his forthcoming album.
Tickets for the Whelan’s gig can be booked for €18 at [email protected].
