Pierce Turner performs online gig tomorrow to celebrate new album #BuyIrishMusic
Irish singer-songwriter Pierce Turner will perform an online gig on Tuesday March 17 through his Facebook page at 9pm.
One of the many gigs cancelled these days is the scheduled New York launch of Vinegar Hill in Joe's Pub in Manhattan on St Patrick's Day.
“Now that everyone has got their money back, I am all rehearsed up with nowhere to go,” the singer said. “So how about I come to you, without going near you?”
Pierce will put a camera up in his sitting room and live stream his entire gig. “We can have our own festival in the comfort of your home with no strange germ to be found.”
The online performance will take place on St Patrick's Day at 5 pm for New Yorkers, 9 pm. for Ireland and the UK. “The Italians are singing across the houses to each other, and so can we, across the waves.”
You can access the gig through Facebook on this link and sure to check out the links below for donations at different levels, CDs, t-shirts and other merch.
