PICNIC IS HERE: A classic from the vaults – HP meets Noel Gallagher
Mr. G leads his High Flying Birds onto the Stradbally stage later today, so what better chance than to look back at one of the finest interviews of last year, where – not wholly surprisingly – he wasn’t in much of a mood to hold back
If there’s two places that Noel Gallagher unequivocally belongs, it’s on major music stages, and sitting with a suitably inquisitive journalist who’s ready to grill the Mancunian on all and sundry.
And while we certainly get to enjoy the former tonight, as he and his High Flying Birds rock Electric Picnic’s main stage, it seems like a very suitable time to also enjoy the latter, as we crank open the vault to bring you one of the very best interviews of 2015. Our man Stuart Clark travelled to chat with the rock god; the resulting exchange can be read right here.
