Phil Lynott's death commemorated with DVD releases
The 20th anniversary of Phil Lynott’s death is being marked by two new DVD releases.
First out of the blocks on January 16 is Thin Lizzy: Thunder And Lightning Concert 1983, which was shot in Dublin. Extras include a 12-page colour booklet and Brian Robertson, Eric Bell, Brush Shiels and George Best reminiscing about Philo.
Next up on March 27 is Gary Moore And Friends: One Night In Dublin – A Tribute To Phil Lynott.
The night in question took place on August 20 in the Point Theatre, and found Moore joined on stage by Brush, Robbo, Bell, Scott Gorham, Snowy White, Brian Downey and Darren Wharton.
