Peter Cat Recording Co announce Dublin show

New Delhi-based band Peter Cat Recording Co have announced a gig in The Button Factory on July 21.

The concert is part of an upcoming tour across Europe, starting at the Finnish music festival Provinssi with shows across central Europe and the UK before finishing in Dublin.

Formed in 2010, Peter Cat Recording Co features vocalist and guitarist Suryakant Sawhney, Karan Singh on drums, bassist Dhruv Bhola, Rohit Gupta on keys and trumpet and Kartik Sundareshan on guitar and trumpet.

The group became popular worldwide with their unique, genre-defying sound. They imagine themselves as a radio station from the near future, or a vinyl from the distant past, combining a wide range of influences into music that escapes classification.

Their latest album, 2024's BETA, is described by the band as "a collection of stories about the future told 50 years in the past, to make sense of the present, on our only home, planet Earth."
