Patty Griffin lines up Olympia date

We already have something to look forward to in the New Year, as Patty Griffin has announced an Olympia Theatre date for January.
The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter - who has seen her work covered by artists including Emmylou Harris, The Dixie Chicks, Joan Baez and Bette Midler - will be making the trip to Dublin on the back of her new album Servant Of Love, which has seen her win the sort of praise that has become familiar throughout her career.
The fully-seated performance takes place on January 17; tickets, priced at €29, are on sale Friday.
