Pat Shortt to run his own trad festival
John Spillane & Stockton's Wing are among the Castlemartyr headliners.
Comedian Pat Shortt has announced details of the inaugural Kiltha River Trad Fest, which will take place from July 29 to August 1 in his own bar in Castlemartyr, County Cork.
Highlights include:
Thursday – John Spillane (€18)
Friday – Stockton’s Wing (€20)
Saturday – Frankie Gavin & The New De Dannan (€20)
Sunday – The Abbey Céile Band (€10)
A dab hand on the old sax and clarinet himself, we wouldn’t be at all surprised if Mr. Shortt puts in a guest appearance or three.
