Alex Warren soars to top of Irish Albums Chart following Iveagh Gardens gig
In February of this year, the former YouTuber and TikTok star shot to international stardom with his viral hit 'Ordinary'
Alex Warren's debut album, You'll Be Alright Kid (Chapter 1), has claimed the No. 1 spot on the Irish Albums Chart, following his performance at Dublin's Iveagh Gardens last week.
Likewise, his single 'Eternity' has moved from No. 25 all the way up to No. 7 on Ireland's Singles Chart.
The California singer is currently on his first international tour, with dates in the US, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia coming up.
Previously, the 24-year-old performed across North America, the UK, and Europe as part of the Cheaper Than Therapy tour.
In the Hot Press live report of his Iveagh Gardens gig, his vocal delivery was described as "nothing short of enchanting, switching effortlessly between mellow tones and soaring high notes."
Warren's music career began back in 2021, when the former YouTuber and TikTok star began independently releasing music. The following year, he was signed to Atlantic Records.
His international breakthrough came in February of this year, when his single 'Ordinary' went viral on TikTok.
The song peaked at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 and became the longest-running number one song on the UK Singles Chart of the 2020s thus far.
