Paddy Usher Band announce Academy show

The Paddy Usher Band launch their ‘You Are So Much Better Off’ single with a May 8 show in the Dublin Academy.
It’s a full-blooded rock ‘n’ roll affair, which nods to such legendary outfits as Free and Led Zep.
A native of Oldcastle in County Meath, Usher previously fronted Jacuzze Jungle who despite their poor spelling won the 1997 Hot Press Demo Marathon, but called it a day after two of their members were tragically killed in accidents.
With all guitars blazing again, he’s playing an extensive series of summer gigs, releasing a second single in July and his debut album in October.
