Dropkick Murphys rip into Trump with 'First Class Loser' dedication
"Punk rock and Donald Trump just don't belong together," the band posted last week.
Dropkick Murphys have taken aim at U.S. President Donald Trump at a gig on Sunday, digging at Trump's connection to child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
At the Long Beach stop on their Warped Tour, frontman Ken Casey told the crowd that their performance of 'First Class Loser' was dedicated to Trump.
"This next song is dedicated to a guy who wears orange makeup, shits his pants in his diapers, rapes women, touches kids," Casey said.
As the band played 'First Class Loser', the backdrop showed a montage of videos and images of Trump, with many calling attention to his decades-long friendship with Epstein.

One image shown on the screen was clipped from a 2002 New York Magazine story in which Trump notoriously said, "I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side."
The callout came amid mass controversy over the Trump administration's handling of the Epstein files, a list of high-profile clients involved in Epstein's child sex trafficking. Despite Trump's campaign promise to release the files as soon as possible, the White House has continued to delay and deny public pressure to release them.
Decades of evidence of Trump's involvement with Epstein, alongside reports this year that Attorney General Pam Bondi told Trump his name was in the files, have come to light in the past few months. Trump and his team continue to claim he never visited Epstein's private island in the Caribbean and investigations tying him to the files are "fake news."
Dropkick Murphys have a history of opposing the Trump administration, having frequently called out audience members for wearing Trump merchandise. They debuted their single 'Who’ll Stand With Us?' at a protest against Trump in Boston earlier this year.
The band recently pulled out of all upcoming Punk in the Park appearances, citing its founder's financial support of the Trump campaign.
"Punk rock and Donald Trump just don't belong together," the band wrote on Instagram last week.
Their album For The People was released earlier this month, featuring collaborations with Irish acts The Scratch and The Mary Wallopers.
