MICK JAGGER: "Out Of Focus" (Atlantic)

Not bad at all. Without the Richards-Wood midfield, you can figure Mick Jagger's solo work is like Leeds without Giles and Bremner but he still knows his funk and he still knows his chorus. A problem in trying to be simultaneously perfect and slapdash but he's got R'n'B instincts his juniors could learn form and most profitably so too.
