Orbital announce a gig in Dublin's Vicar Street
Techno duo Orbital return to Dublin on May 5 to revisit their debut self-titled LP aka the Green Album in Vicar Street during their UK and Ireland Tour.
Brothers Phil and Paul Hartnoll - who were raised in Otford, Kent, England - released the album in 1991 and it soon cemented the pair as one of the most exciting partnerships in the UK electronic music scene.
BBC has titled 'Chime' from the album as "one of the most influential pieces of electronic dance music ever written."
“There is the theory of the möbius, a twist in the fabric of space where time becomes a loop, and when we reach that point, what ever happened will happen again.” That time, it would appear, is now.
