One Direction storm to top of singles chart

It's the story of their life, alright, as One Direction hit the top of the mountain at the first time of asking with new single 'Story Of My Life', taken from forthcoming third studio album Midnight Memories.

The boys' arrival means Lorde and her 'Royals' drops down to third place while Hozier holds court in second spot with 'Take Me To Church'. Meanwhile, Katy Perry stays at #4 with 'Roar' while OneRepublic move up one to #5.

Eminem, Miley Cyrus, Birdy, Ylvis and Drake round out the top ten.
