Saucy Monky team up with Nick Kelly and Naimee Coleman for an Irish mini-tour
LA/Irish girlbeat contenders Saucy Monky have confirmed an intensive week of gigging that brings them to Ireland for the crucial third week in September, to coincide with the return of college students all over the country.
A brace of dates had already been announced, featuring Saucy Monky, in what had been planned as a double bill with singer-songwriting maestro Nick Kelly, at Whelan’s, Dublin (Tuesday 16 Sept.) and Spirit Store, Dundalk (Wednesday 17 Sept.). Now, hit making vocalist and songwriter Naimee Coleman has been added to these shows, making it one of the most attractive three-artist packages seen here for some time.
To complete the week, Saucy Monky, who feature the combined talents of Dubliner Annmarie Cullen and Californian Cynthia Catania in lead vocal and songwriting roles, have added dates at The Lobby, Cork (Sunday 14 Sept.), Gleeson’s Bar, Tipperary (Thursday 18 Sept.) and Connolly’s of Leap, Cork (Friday 19 Sept.). Naimee Coleman will accompany the band on all of these additional dates.
Meanwhile, the radio remix of the band’s single ‘Don’t Wanna Know Your Name’ is currently available for free download from www.saucymonky.com.
