Oliver Stone to appear in Trinity College, Dublin
Those of you fascinated by Oliver Stone’s recent interview in Hot Press will be keen to learn that the three-time Oscar-winning director is set to make a public appearance in Dublin this weekend.
A guest of the Trinity Philosophical Society, Mr. Stone will be discussing his career so far as well as forthcoming feature World Trade Centre. Ms Tara Brady found him a surprisingly ‘serious thinker’ for someone with such a ‘paranoia-soaked canon’.
See what you think: Mr. Stone will be speaking at the Society on Saturday September 30 at 7:30pm in the GMB, Trinity College, Dublin. The event is free to members of the Phil. Non-students can join too for a mere fiver.
This also entitles you admission to see the original Hoffmeister, Mr David Hasselhoff, at 3pm that afternoon – no doubt also a surprisingly ‘serious thinker’ for someone with such a wet t-shirt-soaked canon.
