Meath singer-songwriter Oliver Cole has announced his first solo tour of Ireland, following the release of his fourth album Wingspan.
The tour will kick off on February 14 in Dublin at The United Arts Club, followed by shows in Echoes in the Heartlands at Larry Caffrey's Bar, Mullingar; The Unitarian Church, Dublin; Cleeres, Kilkenny; The Sea Church, Ballycotton, Cork, as well as at Walters during the Dun Laoghaire Summer Fest.
More shows will be announced.
Tickets for all the shows are available at the respective venues' websites, with tickets for The Unitarian Church, Dublin, going on sale on Thursday, January 29, here.
Before starting his solo career in 2006, Cole was a member of the three-piece rock band Turn.
That year, the singer began to work on his first solo album, We Albatri (2010). The record was recorded in Germany and described by Hot Press as "heartfelt, honest, tuneful and true."
In 2015, after releasing his sophomore album Year Of The Bird, Cole was interviewed by Hot Press.
"Funnily enough, I started to fall in love with music in a different way," said Cole. "I was really excited when I started again. Maybe it's getting older but there's not enough time in my life. I wanna do as much as I can do now."
Since then, he released his third LP, Father, Brother Son.
