Two-time Eurovision winner Loreen postpones European tour including Irish show

Two-time Eurovision winner Loreen has postponed her European tour, including her date in Ireland.

The Swedish artist was set to perform at Dublin’s National Stadium in September, as well as the O2 Academy Glasgow, O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester and O2 Academy Brixton in London.

“My darlings, I need to share something important with you,” she wrote in a post on Instagram. “I’m having to reschedule my European tour this September and October to Spring 2027, which also means I won’t be performing at the summer festivals.”

“These shows mean everything to me,” she continued. “It’s a vital part of the connection we share, and I need it to hold the full energy, the full soul it deserves … I’ve really thought this through, and it hasn’t been easy. I’m truly sorry for the disruption this causes.”

She did not share a reason for the postponements.

She went on to write that new dates for the cancelled shows will be announced soon, with full refunds for those unavailable on the rescheduled dates.

Loreen is only the second artist alongside Ireland’s Johnny Logan to win the Eurovision Song Contest twice, with 'Euphoria' in 2012 and 'Tattoo' in 2023.

Both of her Eurovision-winning songs charted in the top 10 of the UK singles chart, while her 2012 album, Heal, also charted.

Her most recent album, Wildfire, was released in March.
