Northside Festival to get a bit jazzy this Sunday
Andreas Varady Trio and Bangsambra will perform at Griffith Park this Sunday August 14.
Bansambra get the show on the road at 2pm with their fusion of Brazilian funk, Nu Jazz and Asian and Latin rhythms.
Things will get even more jazzy when the Andreas Varady Trio take to the stage. 13 year old Slovakian prodigy Andreas Varady, first picked up a guitar aged 4. After moving to Ireland with his family in 2007, he busked the streets of Cork and Limerick. Amazingly at such a young age, Andreas has already performed in ten different countries and with guitar icons such as Louis Stewart and Tommy Emmanuel. He also wowed the Late Late Show audience with his mastery of the guitar earlier this year.
The Northside Festival started on August 1 and runs until August 18. Admission is free to all performances.
