NO ENCORE marks 50th episode with celebratory concert at Workman's
Some of Ireland's finest live acts will help the weekly podcasters celebrate hitting the half century mark.
Hosted by three Hot Press contributors, Colm O'Regan, Craig Ftizpatrick and Dave Hanratty, NO ENCORE have been broadcasting every Monday for nearly a year now and has steadily built a reputation as appointment listening for music fans across the country. Their entertaining take on the stories, stars and songs making the headlines has also drawn a series of top-calibre guests, including Wallis Bird, Girl Band, Holy Fuck and Sage Francis, amongst others.
Choice Prize nominees We Cut Corners and Bantum will be there to help the NO ENCORE lads with their inaugural live show, as well as sets from Limerick alt-rock heroes windings and the sensational Farah Elle.
Furthermore, a host of familiar names including Michael Pope (Le Galaxie), MayKay (Fight Like Apes, Other Voices) and Kieran McGuinness (Delorentos) will be amongst the guest contributors, along with a couple of special surprises on the night.
