New Young Pony Club continue Heineken Green Sphere gigs
New Young Pony Club have been confirmed as the third act this year to play the Heineken Green Spheres series of gigs.
Following on from Psapp and CSS, New Young Pony Club will play Ireland, this time in Kilkenny.
The London band, who based their name on the Irish band Pony Club, are currently causing a stir amongst (cough) 'nu rave' fans with their debut album Fantastic Playroom, which features the singles 'The Bomb' and 'Ice Cream'.
Last seen here playing the NME tour in Belfast and Dublin, they'll now play an intimate gig at Langton's in Kilkenny on May 21. Tickets for the gig are free - wooh! - but are allocated to those who register with http://www.heinekengreenspheres.ie and are lucky enough to be chosen.
