The Dundalk band is also set to play a sold-out show at Fairview Park in Dublin this Friday
The Mary Wallopers have announced an intimate gig at DeBarra’s Folk Club in Clonakilty, County Cork, set to take place on Thursday, July 17.
Originally formed by brothers Charles and Andrew Hendy alongside friend Sean McKenna (who recently departed the band to pursue his own projects), The Mary Wallopers began as a traditional folk trio touring Ireland and collecting songs. The group has since expanded into a six-piece band and gained widespread acclaim for their energetic live performances.
The DeBarra’s show is a rare small-venue date for the band, who are scheduled to perform at three major Irish festivals this summer. The band is also set to play a headline show at Fairview Park in Dublin this Friday, June 14.

Beir Bua, Mary Wallopers!’’
