New Valley Wolves are set to star in a Hot Press YouTube special tonight, kicking off at 8pm.

The Dublin duo have developed a well-deserved reputation as one of the fiercest live outfits Ireland has to offer. Comprising childhood friends Jonny Lucey and Baz Joyce, their riotous energy is combined with true musicianship. New Valley Wolves are unmistakably talented players.

Joyce and Lucey grew up in Dublin as childhood friends, but fate pulled them in opposite directions – Lucey to West Cork and Joyce to Australia. When the two reconvened in Dublin, they were determined to play their own brand of gutsy rock 'n' roll. Together. New Valley Wolves were born. Their debut album Refusal Is Our Weapon was released to critical acclaim.

With a series of high-profile support slots alongside rock heavyweights and a #1 single in the rock charts adding momentum, New Valley Wolves have now firmly claimed their place among Ireland's heavy-hitters. Their potent, edgy songs are delivered with a powerful punch. It is not for nothing that they have been described as "The High Kings of Irish Rock 'n' Roll”.
