New Halves album on way
The band are currently streaming single 'Drumhunter'.
It's been two years since Halves intoxicating debut It Goes, It Goes (Forever & Ever) was released, garnering plenty of plaudits and a Choice Music Prize nomination. The experimental Dubliners have been recording the follow-up in Svenska Grammofon Studion in Gothenberg and are nearly ready to release it into the world.
Boa Howl is set for a July 5 release through HATEISTHENEMY. It will feature guest appearances from Gemma Hayes and Elaine Kelly-Canning.
Check out first single 'Drumhunter' here.
To support the record, Halves will play the Button Factory (July 13), the Model Arts Centre in Sligo (July 20), Bourke's in Limerick (July 25) and Cypress Avenue in Cork (July 26). They're also down for a Forbidden Fruit slot.
