The musical chameleon's going acoustic...
Beck has been a busy boy of late but after his last project Song Reader amounted to him releasing sheet music without any, y'know, actual aural accompaniment, it's nice to hear we're getting something we can play without any formal training.
The Odelay icon has confirmed his plans to release an acoustic album after the summer. He's taking to the road over the next few months to preview it, though no Irish dates seem to be on the horizon.
Here's what his press release has to say about the upcoming record:
"The record can best be described as a self-contained work, one that came in the form of a burst of inspiration following the completion of last year’s groundbreaking Song Reader sheet music album.”
