New album from Kilcar's Rory Gallagher
The former Revs man's record hit shelves and online stores this week.
Fresh from recording a Euro 2012 anthem with close pal Sharon Shannon, Rory Gallagher has just launched the latest album from Rory And The Island (using his given name would prove confusing, you understand). Auntie Depressant And Uncle Hope is now available in HMV Ireland and iTunes worldwide.
As for the 'Boys In Green', it borrows the famous tune from 'Galway Girl' to great effect and has just re-entered the iTunes Top 10 as Rory and Sharon race around the country promoting it. It's all for a good cause too, raising funds for the Ronnie Whelan-backed Myasthenia Gravis Charity.
Pick up the new issue of Hot Press from tomorrow, May 31, as we go footie mad and chat to a couple of key members in the squad as well as the Irish acts hoping to soundtrack the summer.
