Nealo teams up with comedian Darren Conway in video for 'Heart Food For Hard Times'
Watch the new video from Nealo below.
Following the release of 'Heart Food For Hard Times' last month, Nealo has returned with music video for the acclaimed single – featuring an appearance from online comedy sensation Darren Conway.
Formerly a trainee solicitor and the frontman of hardcore punk band Frustration, Nealo has steadily risen through the ranks to become one of the most authoritative voices in the Irish hip-hop boom.
In the video for 'Heart Food For Hard Times' the rapper, who also owns a dog-walking business, draws us closer into his world – telling the story of "a man so distraught by not being able to see his favourite doggie client, Norman, during the Covid-19 quarantine that he turns to drink." The track, which has amassed over 850,000 radio impressions since its release, was a remote collaboration between Nealo, Adam Garrett and Uly – with production by Adam Shanahan (Adam MyFault) and mixing and mastering by Marcin Ciszczon (Diffusion Lab).
Darren Conway, who makes his guest appearance at the beginning of the video, has seen his online following skyrocket in recent months – with fans including Lewis Capaldi, Mary Lou McDonald and Conor McGregor's coach John Kavanagh.
