"I was familiar with some of the heavier Bathory stuff as a kid but a friend introduced me to this album and it was a revelation, I had never heard anything like it, it takes me to another time and plain every time I listen to it. I immediately purchased a copy on cassette and spent the next few years on a search for the LP. One day while browsing through a long gone second-hand record store in Dublin I spotted the logo peering above a pile of old LPs. Not only had I finally found an immaculate gatefold copy but it was also signed by Quorthon himself! A once in a lifetime find and for Five Irish Pounds, it doesn’t get much better than that. Hail the Hordes…"
