Moncrieff offers up heartfelt new single 'Perfect'

Irish singer-songwriter Moncrieff just unveiled his heartfelt new single ‘Perfect’.

Soulful vocals soar over warm piano chords and subtle strings in this commanding ballad, showcasing Moncrieff's ability to write uplifting melodies while still tugging at heart strings.

The track has already had a huge reaction from new and existing fans. Teased on TikTok, 'Perfect' had its live debut on Moncrieff's 30-date European tour, prompting endless seas of lighters-in-the-air moments.

“'Perfect' is a very personal song for me about all those small moments in a relationship that make you realise that something isn’t as perfect as it once felt," Moncrieff said of the track. "It can be so hard to admit that something just isn’t right in a relationship and, despite your loyalty and care towards each other, sometimes good things come to an end.”

The musician has had an incredibly busy year, with this release rounding it off perfectly. 2022 has seen the artist bring his incredible stage presence to festivals across Europe, sell out his first tour in Ireland, perform sold-out headline shows in London and several German cities, open for various high calibre acts, and most recently perform to a sold out 3Olympia Theatre.

Having already impressed greats like Elton John and Avicii with his songwriting, the singer now has something to prove, getting better and better with each release.

‘Perfect’ has stepped up Moncrieff's songwriting once again, continuing to cement himself as one of the most remarkable new singer-songwriter talents emerging from Ireland.

With more new music and live shows coming in 2023, it's undeniable we'll see Moncrieff climb to news heights.
