Miriam Ingram makes Irish debut
Former Wilde Oscars singer Miriam Ingram opens her solo account on October 5 with Trampoline and an extensive tour.
It takes her to 4 Dame Lane, Dublin (5); Everyman Theatre, Cork (6 + The Frames); University of Limerick (7 + The Frames); Spirit Store, Dundalk (8 + Patrick Freyne & His Bad Intentions); Thomas Reid’s, Dublin (29); Spirit Store, Dundalk (November 16 + The Ruby Taillights); and Doyle’s, Dublin (December 6).
An ear-caressing mixture of beats and acoustic guitar, the album features contributions from Dave Odlum, Trevor Hutchinson, Joe Chester, Dave Hingerty, Graham Hopkins and David Bowie’s musical director Gerry Leonard who got her to repay the favour by appearing on his own record.
