M.I.A is 'On The Verge' Of Dropping Her Latest LP
She has taken to Twitter to gauge her frustration as she doesn't seem happy about the way things have unfolded regarding her fifth album, Matahdatah.
M.I.A is warning that she's going to leak Matahdatah online as relationships with her label take a turn for the worse.
It's not the first time MIA has come to a heads with her label. During a Q&A with fans, MIA admitted that she would leak the album if they failed to see eye-to-eye. Well, that day is upon us it seems! In a rant of Tweets, MIA has come out in force against the Interscope claiming a lack of interest in her LP on their behalf. She also cites that American artists have been milking her material and plagiarising her thoughts and she seems pretty fed up.
I hate it when big American artists take from me and my work and refugee sentiments from my work before it's released - survivor !!!
