Metronomy for Olympia
The Brighton-based band are over next March.
Having recently announced their plans to release new album Love Letters on March 10, 2014, Metronomy are now planning to hit the road to promote it.
They are set to play Dublin's Olympia Theatre on Wednesday March 12. Tickets go on sale from usual outlets this Friday from 9am.
As for the forthcoming album, the band’s fourth, it is the follow-up to 2011’s Mercury Prize nominated The English Riviera. It was recorded in London’s analogue Toe Rag studios and produced by frontman Joseph Mount.
The band have also released a new single titled ‘I’m Aquarius’.
The single has been made available through the Night Sky app. In order to hear the song using the app, listeners must go outside, look at the stars and find the Aquarius constellation using their phone. Alternatively, fans can enjoy the single below via the band’s soundcloud.
