Meteor launches new Digital Music Store in Ireland
Meteor has announced the arrival of the Meteor Music Store in Ireland, giving music fans the chance to download their favourite songs – anytime, anywhere.
Meteor customers will be able to access the Meteor Music Store on their PC by logging onto www.meteor.ie/music or by simply following the directions from the Meteor Homepage on their handsets.
All of the major record labels are represented on the Meteor Music Store (Universal Music, Warner Music, EMI, and Sony BMG). In addition, many of the smaller and independent record labels are also included to show Meteor’s commitment to both local and alternative talent. Some of the smaller distributions labels include PIAS Recordings, Absolute, Beggars Banquet, Defected, Kompakt, RMG, Wall of Sound and XL Recordings – all representing nearly 2,000 independent record labels in total).
Music fans can download individual tracks from their PC and the store is also available on a wide range of handsets. Individual tracks will cost €1.50, you can download them straight to your phone, your PC, or both all for the same price, and songs downloaded to your PC can be copied, shared, and played on any MP3 player.
To celebrate the launch of the Meteor Music Store, Meteor has teamed up with Universal Music to offer Meteor customers the chance to win a signed Gibson guitar from Ireland’s multi-platinum selling favourites, The Blizzards. Further information on this exclusive competition can be found on the Meteor Music Store on your PC at www.meteor.ie/music or on your Meteor Mobile.
