MC Lars for Belfast
The US rapper will be joined by Bomb City 7 on the night...
San Fransico rapper MC Lars will make his return to Ireland on May 20 when he plays the Menagerie in Belfast.
Having taken over the nerd-core scene (yep, it's a scene!) and supported acts such as NAS and Wheatus he will be joined in Belfast by punk rock/hip hop band Bomb City 7 and local beatboxing and rap acts Cull and Prison Wife.
Tickets to the show are on sale for as little as £5 and can be bought from his own website; [link]www.mclars.com[/link]
MC Lars collaborations include Weird Al Yankovic on 'True Player For Real' and KRS One on 'What Is Hip Hop?'.
The rapper recently took to Twitter to announce that he has started work on his fourth album, which he plans to finish later this year. You can get a taste of what he has to offer from his 'Hipster Girl' single, below. For more on the gig, head to the event's Facebook page.
