The fifth best selling single in Irish history, ‘Maniac 2000’ was first recorded in The Temple Theatre, has its roots in Michael Sembello's 'Maniac', which was a favourite of DJs in the 1990s.
The track was officially recorded with an audience at Contarf Cricket Club, releasing in February 2000. It hit number one on the Official Irish Charts, remaining there for ten weeks.
McCabe’s new show is set to feature the best-selling single as well as other fan favorites from his storied career.
Tickets for Mark McCabe’s 3Olympia Theatre gig go on sale this Friday, December 5 here.
