Rock supergroup Audioslave announce details of Point gig
It's grunge supergroup time on June 16 when Audioslave open their Dublin account at the Point Theatre.
For the uninitiated, the band features ex-Rage Against The Machine men Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk plus former Soundgarden screamer Chris Cornell.
Having spent the first half of the year getting their act together, the band unleashed their self-titled debut album in November 2002 to considerable acclaim.
Given their impeccable pedigree one imagines that they're pretty damn nifty on stage as well.
Tickets for the show go on sale shortly.
