Little Green Cars spill the beans on new album
"I can't express how suited to each other we were", says Faye O'Rourke of producer Markus Dravs...
Little Green Cars have revealed that working with Grammy-winning producer Markus Dravs on their debut album was an amazing experience.
Having already produced the likes of Arcade Fire, Mumford & Sons and Coldplay, Dravs was was long on the young band's wish-list.
"Markus was just so on the same page" guitarist and singer Faye O' Rourke tells Hot Press. "It was actually unbelievable. I can't express how suited to each other we were. You'd expect it to be like a parent-child relationship, because he's got all the experience and you're all, 'Hail ye!'. He wasn't like that. He said, 'I don't go in for that'".
The much-anticipated Absolute Zero was recorded in just a month. The quintet will showcase the collection at Vicar St. this Saturday, May 11. They recently played to a sold-out Button Factory - check out Maeve Heslin's review of the show, here.
