LISTEN: SOAK, Tebi Rex, Alex Gough and more Irish artists feature on Normal People soundtrack
An exciting selection of Irish artists appear on the soundtrack to the new TV adaptation of Sally Rooney's Normal People.
The acclaimed new TV adaptation of Sally Rooney's Normal People is not only showcasing Ireland's literary and filmmaking prowess on the world stage, but also the dazzling musical talent on offer across the country. Irish film and TV production company Element Pictures have shared the soundtrack for the new series on Spotify – featuring Irish artists alongside international heavy-hitters like Frank Ocean, Carly Rae Jepsen and Selena Gomez.
The homegrown artists that appear on the soundtrack cross multiple genres – with appearances from Villagers ('Everything I Am Is Yours'), The Sei ('Metroma'), delush ('It's Alright'), Lisa Hannigan ('Undertow'), Fionn Regan ('Dogwood Blossom'), Mango X Mathman ('Deep Blue'), 7th Obi ('Alone'), Tebi Rex ('I Never Got Off The Bus'), SOAK ('Maybe'), Orla Gartland ('Did It To Myself'), Anna Mieke ('Warped Window'), Alex Gough ('Dear SJ'), Yenkee ('Cannibal Tree'), Super Silly ('Hate Dah') and more.
