LISTEN! New Sinead McNally track
'Ballad Of The Tiger' is streaming on Soundcloud...
Dundalk singer-songwriter Sinead McNally has released her highly political new song 'Ballad Of The Tiger' ahead of schedule after a fantastic response online.
The topical ballad contains references to "ghost estates," "government bonds" and the mass emigration witnessed in recent years.
The opening two lines allude to lack of a widescale protest at recent events in the country with McNally singing that "we've taken a beating but we never made a sound."
The song has been compared to Christy Moore's 'Ordinary Man' album which portrayed the plight of the working class in Ireland during the '80s.
Sinead enjoyed a fantastic 2012, winning "Best Female" at the MRU awards and performing at the Olympic Games.
