LISTEN: New Music For Monday

Let's face it, the first day of the week tends to drag, so here's a little pick-me-up in the form of great new music from some fine artists.

Over in Björkland (they really should get around to renaming Iceland), the singer gives us a third taste of her forthcoming Biophilia album. Following on from 'Crystalline' and Cosmology', 'Virus' is now available digitally, with a corresponding app set for release August 9. The parent album should drop September 27.

Elsewhere, Stephen Malkmus has just debuted a new track live, which you can check out below.

Another new album around the corner is Beirut's third offering. The Rip Tide will be released August 29, but you can stream the whole thing now if you head over to NPR.
