Listen: Dublin singer-songwriter UnderAchiever DC shares new track 'I Had No Choice'
The former Young Folk member is back with his most tender offering yet.
Following a string of single releases and collaborations, UnderAchiever DC, the solo project of Dublin musician Tony McLoughlin, has shared his stunning new track, 'I Had No Choice'.
Tony, a former member and co-writer with The Young Folk, released several electronic singles with producer Gavin Glass earlier this year, and has now teamed up with Alex Borwick and some of his musical pals for his most acoustic offering yet. 'I Had No Choice' features vocals from singer-songwriter Neev Kennedy, strings from Sarah May Rogers and Lemoncello's Claire Kinsella, and percussion from Ken Mooney. Familiar voices of some of the regulars at Whelan's premier songwriter's night, the Song Cycle, can also be heard in the mix.
When he's not enjoying oxtail soup and bags of Meanies, Tony plays mandolin with Junior Brother.
