LISTEN: Artists stand up for the Orlando victims with touching tribute 'Hands'
Proceeds from the sale of the single 'Hands' in the United States will benefit Equality Florida Pulse Victims Fund, the GLBT Community Center of Central Florida and GLAAD.
The horrific Pulse massacre on June 12, 2016 is still painfully fresh in the minds of many, from the Floridians in America to those mourning across the sea in Dublin, Ireland.
However, an outpouring of love for those most impacted by the Pulse shooting has been seen in various Tweets, Facebook posts, Instagram pictures, handwritten letters, donations and so much more over the past few weeks.
Yesterday, a Hollywood all-star group of 24 artists made their own type of tribute to the Pulse victims in the form of a song.
'Hands' features artists such as Britney Spears, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez, Mary J Blige and the band Imagine Dragons, among many other talented singers.
The song was written by Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter. BloodPop®, Justin Tranter and Mark Ronson produced the song, and it was released by GLAAD/Interscope Records.
'Hands' will be available for download via iTunes later today, but for now the song can be enjoyed on the official YouTube page of Interscope Records.
