Lir announce Whelan's show for 25th anniversary of Nest

For the 25th anniversary of their album Nest, Lir have announced an upcoming show at Whelan's.

The Irish rock band had previously performed their 1994 album Magico Magico! at the Portobello venue. One of the album's tracks, 'Traveller,' was featured on Amazon Prime's Modern Love earlier this year.

Produced by the legendary Rick Will, Nest quickly became popular after its 1995 release. The record, which is a follow up to Magico Magico!, was recorded during the band's tours of the US.

Lir will perform Nest at Whelan's on Friday, November 19 for the record's 25th anniversary. They will be supported by special guests Zamo Riffman and band.
