Moon Safari birthed hit singles in ‘Kelly Watch The Stars’, ‘All I Need’ and possibly the group's best known track ‘Sexy Boy’. It has sold millions of copies around the world, and pushed Air into headline status at major festivals. 25 years on. To say the track was a surprise hit would be an understatement, with one have of the duo Jean-Benoît Dunckel saying that the band had originally dreamed of "selling 10,000 copies and being recognised by other musicians as cool".
However in Jean-Benoît own words, upon the release of Moon Safari: "Then suddenly, we met the world.”
To quote Dunckel's fellow bandmate Nicolas Godin: “To me Moon Safari is perfect.”
