An Post release Westlife 25th anniversary national stamps
The limited-edition collection is now available.
An Post have released a limited-edition Westlife stamp collection to celebrate the Irish pop group's 25th anniversary.
“To have this recognition means the world to us," said the band. "It is such an honour and privilege to be featured on Irish stamps and it is a very special way to commemorate our 25 years of Westlife touring together."
The new collection includes a booklet of four National Rate “N” stamps, each featuring one of the band members and their signature. 80,000 booklets will be available.
Additionally, it features a €3 souvenir “band” stamp sheet. 12,000 sheets will be available.
The collection will contain a First Day Cover envelope, featuring Westlife photography and a commemorative ‘Sligo’ date stamp.
Over the years, the band has seen enormous success, with 11 albums at the top of the Irish Albums Chart, 14 UK number ones, 55 million records sold worldwide and multiple Brit and MTV Awards.
“An Post is proud to celebrate Westlife’s incredible journey with this special collection,” said Aileen Mooney, Irish Stamps Manager at An Post. “These stamps are more than postage – they are a celebration of Irish culture, a keepsake for fans, and a lasting tribute to 25 years of Westlife.”
The collection is now available and can be found here. Booklets will also be available in post offices nationwide.
