Line-up for The Lismore Suite announced
Prelude to Sounds From A Safe Harbour to include Lisa Hannigan and Bryce and Aaron Dessner
Prior to Sounds From A Safe Harbour, a tasty prelude is lined up for Lismore Castle.
Artists - including Lisa Hannigan (pictured) and Bryce and Aaron Dessner of The National - will take up residency at Waterford spread, where members of internationally renowned new music group Crash Ensemble and virtuosic Canadian violinist, Yuki Numata Resnick will also be pitching up.
If it sounds like a lovely holiday, then you're mistaken; they're there to work, damn it! For at the end of the week - September 12 - we'll have a chance to see what they've worked on, as they present new compositions and existing work as part of The Lismore Suite.
It's an exciting collaboration, but it's not included as part of the festival pass; therefore, if you want to catch it, you'll have to grab tickets - priced at €50.
