Liberties Festival takeover by Nighthawks
July Guinness storehouse gig for Liberties Festival 2012
There’s an extremely tasty line-up on July 21 as the Nighthawks posse stage a Liberties Festival take-over of the Guinness Storehouse.
The eclectic bill includes Damien Rice’s cello-playing chum Vyvienne Long, Dublin 8 local Fiach, little x’s for eyes, Pearse McGloughlin, Ellie McMahon, funnypersons Jarlath Regan and Willie White and wordsmiths Kevin Barry and Colm Keegan.
Special guest appearance on the night from street artist Maser of ALT fame, painting a massive outdoor tribute to Irish hero Anne Devlin, Robert Emmet's housekeeper, who was tortured but never gave up the secret.
Tickets are €17.50.
Running between July 18 and 22 under the “Many Cultures, One Community” banner, the bash will also feature a commissioned new work from street artist Maser.
