The former Oasis frontman has partnered with a Dublin homeless charity ahead of his shows at 3Arena.
Frequently parka-clad musician Liam Gallagher has called upon fans to donate warm winter clothing in anticipation of his shows at 3Arena. With the help of Inner City Helping Homeless (ICHH)—a Dublin homeless charity founded by Anthony Flynn, who is now a city councillor—Gallagher has launched the "Part with Your Parka" campaign, which encourages people to donate warm clothing to ICHH.
Those who donate will be entered into a drawing to win two VIP tickets to one of the 3Arena shows as well as the opportunity to meet with the musician.

CALLING ALL PARKA MONKEYS… No one plans on being homeless. Yet 5,000 people in the UK sleep on the streets on any given night. We’re asking you to help this winter by donating a coat or parka. In return for your donation, you’ll have the chance to win a pair of tickets, plus a meet and greet with Liam (one winner for each show on the UK Nov tour). "Winter has hit Ireland already with winter showers threatening the capital this week, so we are inundated with orders for warm clothes from the people we are assisting seven days a week on the streets of Dublin," ICHH head of communications Brian McLoughlin said on Monday. "Liam and his team are fully aware of the homelessness crisis in Ireland and want to do their bit by encouraging fans to donate a coat to us in ICHH."
Ireland is in the midst of the worst homelessness crisis in the history of the country, with government figures counting over 10,000 people who are reliant on emergency accommodations. Those wishing to participate in the drive can drop their donations off at the ICHH offices located at 67 Amiens Street, which are open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
