Led Zeppelin going mobile
Meteor are to offer an exclusive range of Led Zeppelin ringtones and wallpapers for their Irish customers.
Interest in the heavy metal behemoths has surged in recent weeks following the announcement of their one-off reunion show in London's O2 Arena.
The group has sold more than 300 million albums worldwide since it formed in London in 1968 and are now releasing their back catalogue of albums on digital. Meteor have been granted exclusive rights to offer these as tones and images for one week before they become available across all operators.
The content on offer includes 22 ringtones, including the hits 'Whole Lotta Love', 'Stairway to Heaven' and 'Rock & Roll', as well as 13 wallpapers depicting the band's original album covers ranging from the BBC sessions and the Houses Of The Holy albums to each of the Led Zeppelin I, II, III and IV albums.
